Accounting People is a firm of Accountants and Registered Auditors with offices in London and Islamabad. Our team are fully qualified and experienced in all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping and auditing.

This is an excellent opportunity for applied skills level ACCA candidates to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment. The internship, based at our Islamabad office, is offered on a fixed-term basis and provides full training and support while working alongside experienced professionals across a wide range of tasks. Interns will have the chance to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, with progression towards full-time employment available based on performance. Upon successful completion of the internship, candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion, including confirmation of the time contributed towards their Practical Experience Requirement (PER) for ACCA.

All potential candidates must be able to speak and write in fluent English.

About The Role****INTERNEE

• Assisting with bookkeeping and accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities.
• Supporting the completion of VAT (sales tax) returns.
• Assisting with bookkeeping and payroll tasks.
• Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax computations.
• Working closely with senior team members on various ad-hoc client assignments.

Candidate Requirements

• ACCA applied skills level candidates – minimum 3 to 5 papers passed.
• Good English communication skills (essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (essential).
• Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
• Ability to work with accuracy under pressure.
• Good technical and analytical skills.

Stipend – PKR 40,000

Tenure – 6 months
