About CERP:

The Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) is a non-profit research center that promotes the use of rigorous quantitative research and actively engages with policy counterparts to address critical public policy issues. Founded in 2008 by prominent Pakistani economists affiliated with institutions like Harvard University, the University of Chicago, Pomona College, and the Lahore University of Management Sciences, CERP aims to bridge the gap between research and implementation in both public and private sectors.

About the Role:

CERP is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern with strong analytical and reporting skills. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HR department within a dynamic, research-driven organization. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions with a special focus on data analytics, reporting, and record management using tools like Excel and Power BI etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Senior Year Students and Fresh Grads are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.) and Power BI
  • Familiarity with data visualization and HR reporting
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Duration: Internship (6-12 weeks)
