Information Security Analyst - Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedInformation Security Analyst - Internto join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in information security practices, governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance activities within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Support in conducting Cyber security risk assessments and internal audits
• Participate in compliance checks and documentation for standards such as ISO 27001, SAMA-CSF, or similar
• Help track and document security incidents and responses
• Contribute to awareness programs and training materials on information security best practices
• Work with cross-functional teams to support information security governance initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing final year) inComputer Science,Information Security, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and eagerness to learn
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and basic technical documentation

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
• Awareness of cyber security and data protection regulations (e.g., SAMA-CSF, NDMO-PDPL)
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., ISC CC, CEH, CompTIA Security+) will be a plus

Duration: 6 months (on-site role)
