The Pakistan Youth Space Organisation (PYSO) is a national, youth-led initiative focused on advancing space science, engineering, and education in Pakistan. Our mission is to foster a new generation of aerospace leaders through hands-on opportunities in rocketry, satellite development, and space research. PYSO is working to develop Pakistan’s first youth-engineered rocket capable of reaching the Kármán line and establish foundational satellite networking capabilities. We collaborate with students, educators, engineers, and institutions to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity, ensuring that talented youth can contribute to the global space frontier.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aerospace Research Intern, located in Lahore. The intern will be responsible for assisting with research and development in aerospace projects, including rocketry and satellite systems. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members on various projects. Additionally, the intern will assist in outreach activities to promote aerospace education and innovation.

• Strong foundation in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
• Knowledge of rocketry, satellite systems, and space research methodologies
• Experience in conducting experiments and data analysis
• Proficiency in technical writing and preparing research reports
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for space science and education
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
