**Position Purpose:**We are currently seeking talented and driven individuals to join our team as Medical Billing Intern for the Medical Billing team. The candidates should possess the basic understanding of processes with medical billing & EHR. Communication skills are paramount for this role.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Fresh Grad in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Certification(s): Certification with Medicine/medical/health care will be preferred.

Experience:

  • 6 months - 1 Year of experience with Medical billing and EHRs.
  • Fluency with English communication is paramount in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with submitting insurance claims promptly and accurately.
  • Post payments from insurance and patients into the system.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve issues.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility before billing.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing activities.
  • Address patient and insurance inquiries professionally.
